EcoFlow — the longest warranty we fit
PowerOcean. Start small. End up sorted.
Begin with a single 5 kWh battery and grow to 45 kWh as life gets more electric — with the longest warranty we install backing every pack: fifteen years, in writing.
Why we rate it
The battery you buy once.
Buy the battery you need today.
Solar shouldn't demand a crystal ball. Start with one 5 kWh pack and let the system grow with the EV, the heat pump, the extension. Every pack carries its own DC-DC converter, so new batteries work perfectly beside old ones — no rip-out, no rebuild.
- Stack to 45 kWh — add packs whenever, old and new together.
- Wall or floor mount — fitted to the space you actually have.
Blackout? You won't even notice.
Backup comes as standard, with a switchover designed to pass unnoticed — the fridge hums on, the router stays up, the lights don't blink. Bigger three-phase systems push up to 12 kW of backup output; we design the backed-up circuits around what actually matters in your house.
- Seamless switchover — designed so the house never notices.
- Auto-heating — full performance through freezing NI winters.
- Active fire protection — a suppression module inside the system.
The EcoFlow app
The app that hunts cheap electricity.
EcoFlow's AI-powered home energy management learns your real-time and historical usage and works your tariff — charging when units are cheap and spending them when they're dear. The Dynamic Tariff Dashboard plugs straight into Octopus Flux and Agile, showing live 24-hour pricing so the battery buys at the bottom of the market. And the home screen is yours: move the widgets, see your energy your way.
- Dynamic tariff dashboard — real-time 24-hour pricing, Octopus Flux and Agile supported.
- AI energy assistant — learns usage patterns for maximum savings.
- Personalised widgets — arrange your energy data the way you like it.
- Set up at handover — app and web portal working before we leave.

The EcoFlow ecosystem
PowerPulse: solar into mileage.
EcoFlow's PowerPulse EV charger is built to sync with the PowerOcean — harnessing photovoltaic energy the moment it's generated, managing the house's loads around the car, and showing the whole picture on PowerInsight and the app. It charges happily on its own too, but together they're the point: sunshine in the panels by lunchtime, miles in the car by teatime.
- PowerOcean synergy — instant solar harnessing and load management.
- Up to 11 kW on three-phase — sized to your supply at survey.
- Works solo — ecosystem optional, convenience standard.
- Priced at survey — see our EV charging page.
The Glow verdict
The one we recommend for keeping.
"Warranties tell you what a manufacturer really thinks of their own kit. Most stop at ten years — EcoFlow put fifteen in writing. For customers planning to stay in the house long-term, that's the number that settles it."

Straight answers
PowerOcean questions, answered honestly.
Is the 15-year warranty real?
Yes — EcoFlow warrant the LFP batteries for 15 years of daily use down to 70% of original capacity, backed by a 6,000-cycle design. It's the longest battery warranty we install, and we register it in your name at handover.
Can I start small and add batteries later?
That's the system's whole idea. Start from a single 5 kWh pack and stack up to 45 kWh. Each pack has its own DC-DC converter and BMS, so new packs work alongside old ones without replacing anything.
What happens in a power cut?
Backup is supported as standard — the switchover is designed so you won't even notice, and larger three-phase systems can push up to 12 kW of backup output. We size the backup around what you actually want kept on — see backup power.
