Bring your electricity usage, details of any solar panels and your plans for an EV or heat pump. We size the system around when you use electricity and what you want backed up, rather than recommending the largest battery. Tell us if you want to add storage later so expansion can be considered in the design.
Can I add SigenStor to an existing solar installation?
Ask us to assess your existing inverter, panels and metering before choosing a system. Send a photo of the inverter nameplate and tell us whether you receive ROC payments. Our guide to adding a battery to existing solar explains the checks that matter.
What should I include when asking for a SigenStor quote?
Tell us your town, whether you already have solar, your electricity usage and whether backup power or EV charging is part of the job. We confirm the proposed equipment and installation scope in your quote. You can also see a Belfast solar and SigenStor design case study.
How big can a SigenStor system go?
A single tower stacks up to 48 kWh of battery, and towers can be connected in parallel for commercial installations. Most homes start with one or two battery modules and add more later — the packs click together — no extra wiring.
Does the SigenStor keep the power on in a cut?
With the right gateway and backup setup, SigenStor can keep selected circuits running during a power cut. Sigenergy rates load-side switchover at 0 ms. We agree what needs to stay on and specify the equipment around that. See backup power for how we design it.
Can the SigenStor charge my EV?
Yes. You can add a Sigenergy AC charger, or specify the optional EV DC charging module. We confirm the charger and vehicle compatibility before quoting. V2H and V2G capabilities depend on the vehicle and supported system configuration; they are not included as a standard feature.
