Sigenergy — our flagship platform

SigenStor. Five jobs. One tower.

Hybrid inverter, battery, EV DC charging, backup and AI energy management — stacked into a single unit instead of three boxes and a wall of cable. Supplied and installed by Glow Electric, NICEIC-approved.

Why it's our flagship

Built like the future of home energy should be.

Starts sensible. Grows to 48 kWh.

Battery packs click together with guided quick connectors — they auto-plug as they stack, no hand-wiring between modules. Each pack carries its own DC-DC optimiser, so you can add new packs to old ones years later and mix capacities without a rebuild.

  • Add capacity later — start with what you need, stack more when the EV or heat pump arrives.
  • Commercial-ready — towers connect in parallel for business installations.

Backup that doesn't blink.

Sigenergy rate the load-side switchover at 0 ms — when the street drops, your backed-up circuits never notice. And with an IP66 rating it installs in the garage, the utility room or outside on the wall, whichever suits the house.

  • 0 ms load-side disruption — the Wi-Fi doesn't even drop.
  • IP66 weatherproof — indoor or outdoor installation.

EV charging, straight from DC.

The optional EV DC charging module taps power directly from the battery and the panels — no double conversion — so the car charges on 100% green power. And the platform is built ready for V2H and V2G: when the standards land, your car can back up the house by software update.

  • Optional DC charging module — one tower runs the house and the car.
  • V2H / V2G ready — enabled over the air once the standards are published.

Fitted and handed over properly.

One tower means one tidy install — no wall of separate boxes and conduit. We test and certify to BS 7671, register the warranties in your name, and don't leave until the system's running the way it should.

  • NICEIC certified — tested and certificated, not just fitted.
  • Warranties registered — 10 years on the battery, in your name.

The mySigen app

Your whole energy world, in your pocket.

mySigen tracks the energy flow with precision — from generation to consumption. Solar in, battery level, home use, export: every kilowatt-hour accounted for, live and historically. Its AI plans around your tariff and the weather forecast, charging the battery when power is cheap and spending it when it's dear.

  • Precision energy flows — generation to consumption, tracked live.
  • AI-assisted energy planning — learns your tariff, your habits and the forecast.
  • One app for the lot — solar, battery, backup and EV charging in one place.
  • Set up at handover — on your phone and working before we leave.

The Sigen ecosystem

Add the AC charger. Complete the set.

Sigenergy's AC charger joins the tower under the same roof and the same app — mySigen runs the panels, the battery, the backup and the car as one system. Surplus solar goes into the car before it goes anywhere near the grid, and there's one installer and one number to ring for the lot: us.

  • £1,050 installed — details on our EV charging page.
  • Managed by mySigen — the charger obeys the tower's energy planning.
  • Solar-aware charging — the car drinks the surplus first.
  • One ecosystem, one installer — designed, fitted and supported together.

The Glow verdict

Why we made it our flagship.

"One tower replaces an inverter, a battery bank and an EV charger — which means one tidy install, one warranty conversation and one app. When a platform saves the customer wall space and saves us wiring time, everybody wins. That's why it's the first system we price for most homes."

Straight answers

SigenStor questions, answered honestly.

How big can a SigenStor system go?

A single tower stacks up to 48 kWh of battery, and towers can be connected in parallel for commercial installations. Most homes start with one or two battery modules and add more later — the packs click together — no extra wiring.

Does the SigenStor keep the power on in a cut?

Yes — Sigenergy rate the load-side switchover at 0 ms, so backed-up circuits carry on without a flicker. It's also IP66 rated, so it can be installed in a garage or outside on a wall. See backup power for how we design it.

Can the SigenStor charge my EV?

There's an optional EV DC charging module that taps power directly from the battery and panels. Sigenergy have built the platform for V2H and V2G (your car powering the house or grid), pending the standards — enabled by software update when they land.
